Louise von Schweinitz

Born in Berlin, Louise von Schweinitz became a junior student at the Julius Stern Institute of Berlin University of the Arts at twelve. She studied in Freiburg, Berlin and Rostock, with teachers including Catalin Ilea and Gert von Bülow. Masterclasses with János Starker, Eberhard Finke and Jens Peter Maintz complemented her training.

Concert tours have taken her to Poland, Belgium, Korea and the United States. She has received scholarships from Live Music Now and the Busche Foundation, and gained orchestral experience in Cottbus, Dessau, Gorzów, Vorpommern and Lübeck.

Chamber music is central to her artistic work. In the Rodur Trio Berlin, she performs with violinist Junko Fukabori and pianist Maria-Magdalena Pitu-Jokisch.
