The association behind the concerts
About us
For more than 26 years, Musik in Brandenburgischen Schlössern e. V. has brought classical music to remarkable historic settings.
Our approach
Classical music in historic surroundings
A historic hall, musicians close at hand, the first note: our concerts bring classical music together with the distinctive atmosphere of each venue. As a non-profit association, we make these encounters between artists, audiences and historic buildings possible.
Piano recitals, chamber music and song are at the heart of our programme. Familiar masterpieces sit alongside rarely heard repertoire, performed by soloists and chamber ensembles.
Our work combines longstanding artistic partnerships with new musical encounters. Above all, we value concerts that offer a direct, personal experience of music.
Our concert series
One association, three concert series
Musik in Brandenburgischen Schlössern e. V. brings together three concert series, each with its own name and venues, in Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Berliner Schlosskonzerte
At Schloss Köpenick, the Bode-Museum and Schloss Schönhausen, classical music meets Berlin’s architecture and history.
